How to become a volunteer
We always need volunteers…. there is a lot to do.
We always need volunteers…. there is a lot to do.
The Belmonte Arboretum Foundation chooses to work with a group of volunteers. Volunteers can be set to work in different areas and are, moreover, the best ambassadors for our garden!
Types of volunteers
In several areas, volunteers can be scheduled. Initially, we are looking for volunteers to help out in garden work.
For the daily maintenance of the garden, we would like to have a group of people who work in the garden on a fixed day of the week, under supervision. It is mainly the type of work (weeding/tidying up, pruning, watering, reshaping wood sections, do odd jobs and possibly empty trash cans) that are supplementary to the daily maintenance work of the master gardener, and help improve the quality.

Belmonte Arboretum is looking for helping hands
In 2016, a longstanding wish came true: the Koetshuis in the Belmonte Arboretum had been renovated and made fit to exploit. For activities, carried out in the style of Belmonte, meant to bring in money for our garden. To supervise and carry out these activities, volunteers are needed. What do we need? People who are willing to do some serious work, who enjoy dealing with people and in this way want to contribute to the preservation of our garden!
Experience in restaurant work may come in handy, but is in no way required. We also need people for construction work, for clearing up, or to help build up the tent, occasionally. Sign up on
