Since 2012, the “Stichting Belmonte Arboretum” (SBA) has carried the complete responsibility for exploiting the Belmonte Arboretum. The foundation has as a statutory goal:
Section 2
The foundation has as its goal the management and exploitation of the Belmonte Arboretum in Wageningen as a high quality garden, both in a botanic/cultural historic respect and an architectural respect. The foundation serves the general interest and does not aim to make a profit.
The three original founders (“Het Geldersch Landschap”, Wageningen UR and “Arboretum Stichting Wageningen”) have, up to 2017, contributed in both a managerial and financial way to the conservation of the garden, and the formation of a new, firm managerial and financial basis for the Belmonte Areboretum Foundation.
The present structure of management is as follows:

Next to these departments, the foundation has a Board of Advisors, that will be further realized in 2017 .
The foundation does not employ people, all work is carried out on the basis of service contracts.
