Opportunities

The SBA sees opportunities, but is actively looking for more stable financing options. Firstly, we are searching for a structural multi-annual-coverage of 150-200.000 euros, needed annually for sustainable management of this park. Part of this has been provided, for the other part we are still looking for sponsors.

Our own resources

Furthermore, the SBA wants to enhance our own resources, a limited number of investments have already been made. Still, there are a few investments we would like to do to extend our possibilities. Especially investments to make the ‘Koetshuis’ better fit for activities, and thus make it more profitable.
In 2016,  the first meetings, parties and other activities were organised, and greatly appreciated by our guests. We prefer to earn part of our money ourselves, we are not going to sit back and wait, but are going to act within our context and  possibilities.

Investments

In addition to this, a number of investments are still needed to ensure  further preserving of management and maintenance. Some examples of  areas where we still need support:

• • expanding and automatizing the irrigation, a dire necessity now that summers become increasingly dry;

• • purchase of an electric cart, to be used in maintenance and for events;

• • semi-solidified paths, causing less erosion and   less maintenance;

• • replacing some collections

Partnership

We assume that sponsoring is a form of partnership in which both parties need to see and feel an added value.  What can we offer you?  We have come up with:

• • Your name will be stated on the sponsor-board next to the entrance of the Belmonte Arboretum;

• • You are entitled to use our  partnership in your external communication. Good for your image and an example of  social and  environmental responsibility

• • We offer you what may well be the most beautiful  environment for your business- or product presentation;

• • Do you have a meeting in  Wageningen? We offer you and your guests a tour through our beautiful garden with expert guides;

• • After the ‘Koetshuis’ has been renovated, we offer   you a meeting location in the most beautiful environment. Naturally, free of costs for you as a  sponsor and for your guests. (a number of times)
